Today, I signed the Accelerating Access to Critical Therapies for ALS Act. Thanks to a movement led by patients and caregivers and bipartisan members of Congress, we are finally closer than ever to new treatments, and hopefully a cure.
Look up "scientific racism" and you will surely find Carl Linnaeus listed there. This event should represent a shared love of science by all and changing the name is crucial for achieving that. Please share and sign to encourage @EntsocAmerica to make this necessary change.

I submitted an appeal which actually addressed this specifically and still the same reasoning. Hopefully this could be addressed before next year's applicants!
