Work hard, play hard, go hard. Succeed.
Proud to be where I am today and have the opportunities I’ve been handed - next step; BBC Radio Presenter? I think yes
@Galahad_93@toggll @xBTDOT @Fartonmeplzz@anynim1@daz_black There has been a massive increase of suicides as a whole, alongside sexual assaults, rapes, murders etc etc. why? Because we live in a disgusting world. It shouldn’t matter someone gender, race, age, or anything along those lines. People are people. They should be treated as such
@anynim1@daz_black I wonder, will you still be preaching about “freedom of speech” when someone following someone like Andrew Tate’s ideologies attacks you or your daughter simply because you’re a woman? Or because according to men like Mr Tate, you deserve to be treated as such due to your gender?
@MrCrumpitizer@daz_black I’m not the biggest fan of Logan Paul either, but I can still respect the growth he’s made since the incidences of his past - sometimes people just don’t like people, and that’s okay, you can respect someone without being a fan of them; and I think Daz’s naming of Logan proves it
Seeing this on Disney plus makes me happy; takes me back to my highschool media studies memories. Where a certain special teacher @david_gower83 made me realise my love for radio, here I am after 2 years of doing radio as my focus at college - now having been on BBC radio 🥰
@crimsonace@tombennett71 Secondly, yes; students have always been sneaky - it’s in our nature! But I know for damn sure I wouldn’t be as sneaky as I am now if I didn’t have to hide my phone in HS to get updates from my siblings when my mother was in hospital fighting for her life. Phones aren’t the issue
@crimsonace@tombennett71 I’m a college student in the UK. guess what? We’re only 16/17/18. I wouldn’t exactly call 16-18 year olds motivated to work, would you?
College classes over here are the exact same as just going to one high school HS for the whole day, but we’re treated like adults here
@tombennett71 Pt 2 - I’m a 2nd year college student now, attending a school where we can be on our phones all we want, it’s so rare that people even touch their phone in classes! Don’t ban phones, make lessons more engaging.
@tombennett71 As someone who went to a very anti-mobile phone school (where they would confiscate it for 2 days if they even saw it poking out of your pocket) I can tell you this does nothing nit make students more sneaky! - pt 1
