@dmtoft Actually just reread your tweet. The total an average couple could borrow would be £100k on that lending basis. Basically only very wealthy upper middle classes can afford to buy in the UK in the 2020s.
@dmtoft The average salary in the UK is £26k per annum. Do the average family let's say £50k household income so the most they could borrow on that basis is £150k. Be lucky to get anything for that given the average house price is £290k. Maybe THATS the problem.
27 Tories who donated £50 Million in total to Tory party given seats in House of Lords
Some become ministers controlling government depts inc Lord Dominic Johnson (gave £300k) & set up Somerset Capital with Rees Mogg, now Minister for Investment

In May govt announced decent help based on predicted 42% rise in the Oct to Apr energy price cap (that'd take a typical bill to £2,800)
Now the rise for that period's likely to be 126% (£4,460 for a typical bill)
Pls read why & my plea to the new PM

@DamianHinds Well I shall not be voting for you. I am a constituent. The behavior of this pm has been disgusting and his attitude is worse. I'm sickened that anyone could support him.
