@dstaples As human hockey stories go, that has to be one of the best in a while. If you play (or have played) how can one not connect with this chap and event.

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@TheCultofHockey @edmontonjournal Both are needed. There are only several players on the roster that have earned a temporary exemption card, JW is not one of them. Too soft, too many giveaways , and too many missed coverages. Needs a reset.

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@TheCultofHockey @edmontonjournal Mr Staples, please make sense of this. Howard will never be 3 or 4th line player in this league, too small either top 6 or AHL career. Who on his current line will feed him the puck. Who is he feeding? Fredrick? It like the Oilers systemically set up some players to fail.

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@dstaples Looked good on the 6 on 4 PK though.

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@dstaples Can we count on any Netminding? Unger?

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@GinoHard_ Is so selfish to do that, what else will his selfishness lead to?

[BC Hockey @BCHockey_Source]

A big thank you to all the coaches across BC Hockey for everything you do to support players, teams, and the game we love.

We’d also like to congratulate all of the National Coaches Week Contest winners and thank everyone who took the time to nominate a coach and recognize the impact they’ve had.

We’re lucky to have so many amazing coaches across B.C. and Yukon!

#ThanksCoach

Trump's trade war strategy against Canada? Troll them into submission

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@yeosmyth @KijhlS I hear you. Can you imagine paying team fees, room/boarding etc.. to play unsanction jr b? Talk about burning paper money to roast wieners.

[MeidasTouch @MeidasTouch]

Canadian commentator @ItsDeanBlundell absolutely unloads on Trump in an interview with @MacFarlaneNews:

“We’re laughing at him. We’re mocking him… This is not a serious man. This is not a serious president.”

He says Trump has become a “caricature” in Canada with “nowhere to go.”

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@DavidColetto Anyone could get a deal, but getting a deal that is positive for Canada and fair for the USA appears to be something the other party does not want. Can you imagine if Canada insisted as part of any agreement, USA could not trade with others as USA wished.

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@TheCultofHockey @edmontonjournal Gotta love the eastern media. Jealously is one of the nasty sins. Feel bad for them.

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@dstaples I would not spend a dime on the player. Keep the power dry for a top six fwd, or net minder (if the current three don’t pan out). Besides, if you block a European player (or most young players today) too much they will be gone. We need to learn from past mistakes.

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@dstaples Trade bait.

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@KellyHrudey It’s not how you starts, it’s how you finish. This is a Doctorate on how to finish. Best of luck on Act three @KellyHrudey . As they also say, when one door closes another opens.

Smart articulate man

Great to see this @MaxPoirier20 . Way to represent. Always good to remember the ones you meet on the way up are the ones you might meet on the way down. Making the family proud. #kansascityroyals #prouduncle

Lecturing and threatening Canada on managing nearly 1.3 billion acres of boreal forest when you can’t properly renovate a 2000ft long reflecting pool in your capital is peak MAGA.

[Shawn Brinsky @sbrinsky]

@marlene4719 They voted for that, they deserve that.
