John and Thady Gosden have won this in recent years with Trawlerman and Sweet William and they have a good chance again in the progressive VALEDICTORY. He looked unlucky at Newbury on return and then was given too much to do at Ascot. He has won both starts since and showed a good attitude at Newmarket last time. He has more to come as his stamina is drawn out and should have a great chance to land the hat-trick here.

I was impressed with the way JEDDAAL went to the front and saw it out strongly at Chester last time. He has won two of his three starts this season and still looks capable of taking his form up a notch again. He is up another 5lb but the yard are in good form and you wouldn't rule out another chunk of improvement. Mirsky and Mr Swivell head the dangers.

I was with HAVANA SPRITE at Newmarket and I was a bit gutted she didn't win outright. I thought she was in front but the judge couldn't split them on the photo. She is clearly improving all the time and while this is competitive I think she has more to come over 6f now handicapping and looks worth keeping on side as she bids to land the hat-trick.

After catching the eye on debut running a bit keen WELEYFF improved to win at Ayr last month. He was briefly outpaced before staying on strongly to win going away. He has lots more to come with his form stacking up and I'll be surprised if he is beaten here. This track will suit and he looks to have a promising future. Eighth Immortal can do better and back up in trip looks the danger.

I'm sticking with last year's winner WAARDAH here. She beat Danielle with quite a bit to spare I thought and she has been highly tried since finishing down the field on Champions Day before bouncing back with a big run second to Estrange at Carlisle. Her form is the best on offer and she should be difficult to beat with Danielle the obvious danger again meeting on better terms this time.

The way TWO TRIBES won this 12 months ago was so impressive. He hit the front soon enough but ran on strongly to win. I know he is higher in the weights this time around but this track clearly suits him well and the form of that second to Amazing Journey at Ascot last month looks particularly strong. He arrives bang in form and should have a great chance. There are a couple I fear and they are headed by Sondad who is off a career-high mark but could quite clearly be capable. Completely Random is the other one I can see running well and plenty made the shortlist including Soldier's Tree.

I know George Boughey thinks a fair bit of ASUKA so hopefully he can take this out. He is arguably unlucky not to be a perfect 3-3 having missed just a nose at Wolverhampton on return. He has a progressive profile and now handicapping can improve again. Angel Hunter has dropped back below his last winning mark so could be the danger.

The best is yet to come with DIVINE KNIGHT and he could be the one to beat here. I think the drop back to a mile and a half will suit and if he can settle better he has potential to rate a lot higher than his current mark. This looks easier and I can see him taking a lot of stopping under Cieren Fallon.

The money keeps coming for CITY OF MEMPHIS at Leopardstown and it is easy to see why. She has won 2 from 3 and impressed winning on reappearance. She is obviously in deeper waters here but can keep improving and looks a filly to keep on side. Signora is going the right way too and is the danger.

Obviously Puerto Rico could be hard to beat here but HANKELOW is a really nice each way price so I'm happy to chance him. He has won 2 from 3 and I was impressed with how he beat Al Zanati on final outing. That horse won a Group race at Chantilly and then bumped into the exciting Raaheeb at Sandown so the form looks good. If he improves again he could surprise a few here.

I don't expect there to be an upset here and DIAMOND NECKLACE is very much the one to be on. She went 3-3 as a 2yo and she should have lots more to come this season. I know she is short in the betting but that is with good reason and given she is unexposed over a mile it would be no surprise to see an impressive performance here under Ryan Moore.

I'm happy to put a line through that reappearance run from PIERRE BONNARD here last month. He looked like he needed the run badly and if he strips fitter here he could take a lot of beating now. I know Aidan O'Brien still holds him in really high regard and they will be hopeful he can get back on track before being targeted at bigger pots with The Derby dream still very much alive.
