Jersey Mike’s sandwiches have shrunk dramatically. I just got one and was shocked how small it is.

I looked it up… sure enough there was a private equity takeover. Blackstone took over control in 2024.

Now they are doing an IPO again. Blackstone ruined the sandwiches and probably loaded up the new company with debt.

A once excellent sandwich chain has gone downhill with private equity.

You know the difference between all those other religions and Christianity? They all say that Jesus is ONE way to heaven.

Jesus said HE is the ONLY way to heaven. "No one comes to the Father but through me."

I don't understand why people don't grasp that.

Maybe because they want to be comfortable in their sin and still think they are good people?

If someone thinks we are inherently good, ask them which trait comes naturally to children: selfishness or selflessness (sharing, etc.)?

Which one of those is inherent in human nature and which one do we have to constantly struggle to be?

Trump has been saying since the 80's that Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. The people in Iran seemed to be rising up against the IRGC and asking Trump for his help to get out from underneath them.

If you know your stuff, you know ancient historians rarely documented any "supernatural" events unless they had a favorable bias towards it.

Why was it written that Jesus appeared to women first after his resurrection? Again, if you know your stuff, you would know that anyone recounting events wouldn't use women in the story in such an important role back then.

Ok, so you don't believe that Luke interviewed ANY eye witnesses despite him saying so in the first few verses of Luke.

So, that tells me you don't believe the bible at all.

I'm glad you have read and transcribed the thousands of New Testament manuscripts and/or partial manuscripts written since Jesus' time.

If Mathew's witnesses to the crucifixion didn't hear the thief repent, does that mean the story is a contradiction? "Didn't hear it so it didn't happen." That is a pretty childish view of the Gospel.
