@SW_Help who do I need to complain to about the abysmal state of the communications and planning for a rail
Replacement service south of Guildford? It’s not the first time you are doing rail replacement so why is there no signage or any timetable alignment or capacity planning?
@SouthTrains little boy sitting next to me just asked a great question, “mummy how come we get internet on the plane up in the sky, but not on this train?” Would it be too much to ask you to invest in reliable wifi so that when your trains are delayed I can be productive?
@MoxyHotels i realise that I am missing my invoice from a stay in Frankfurt on October 17th. I have tried calling your hotel twice and they have hung up twice. Could someone email me please? [email protected]
Mum just got conned twice in two days! She only just got her money back a month ago after the last one. I should be sympathetic but I just want to complete a scarf and walk away…
Definite mini breakdown today. Found myself sobbing uncontrollably. Managed to manage it, but I think the workload is getting to me. The crazy unhealthy thing is that to escape the insane tempo in the day job, I have to go and escape into my policing role for R&R.
So having been chuffed beyond belief to get on a MOE course, I was only mildly crushed to find it was not this week. It was this week in 12 months time 😩🤬
Next time someone says “come on the out of area arrest attempt, it will be a laugh and easy”… lies - who chooses to stab themselves in the stomach? Finished my late shift as Early shift was walking in.
Did my first joint response unit shift yesterday. I had no idea paramedics took so many breaks. It must be positive because the difference in relations between police control room and ambulance control was night and day.
Not sure why certain SCs always so keen to sound like complete tools over the air.During SC operation on Sat eve one of the supervisors chooses to request that force control asks all SC in Burger King to leave on-mass just because he had been asked to shift his van. 🤬
So my weekend went something like: Fri late shift - secure hospital, quality time with some very special people.Finish 02am. Sat 08am OST followed by one of those SC mass operations that are always a bad idea.Finished 01:30.Sunday - trying to make sure kids remember who i am😂
Towards a child abduction today. Male had prev strangled an officer and was 6’9”.Long story short. Social had mixed him up with someone else. Guy hadn’t eaten in three days&was saving every£ to feed his son. Male was looking for help. Deliveroo deployed and one happy baby and dad
Did my PSU course this week. Great course and very sweaty. Saturday afternoon I took my PSU kit bag in, thinking I will probably next open this on refresher. Got mobilised Saturday evening!
No one joins the police to get rich and im glad I don’t get paid as a SC. However,it’s disgusting when my gross pay this month is more than the annual salary of a experienced PC. I’m not going to complain, but fundamentally something is wrong when our frontline are so badly paid.
Mental horse on the road last night! Managed to escape three times and was a miracle no one got seriously hurt. Henceforth a packet of Polos will be part of my response kit!
Find it really difficult when you take over another rota’s DP at hospital. You then get to custody and have to make the case for their detention, all the while thinking - I am not sure the right person was arrested here!
…I mean if you can’t even get her date of birth right…
Tip tip in post covid world - if you are going to go off to hook up with a coworker after your office party, don’t turn your phone off and go dark on your partner. You may be reported as missing and you might get me ruining the romance with a knock on the hotel room door! ❤️💙👮♀️
One of the most stressful days ever - so many demands (not requests) from people with no sense that one might have any priority but them. Now straight onto a 9 hour Night Shift to wash the corp BS away 😂👮♀️
Went into city for lunch with someone today. Great lunch but mobile experience is horrible - who puts a block on Teams on 4G - obviously someone who never imagined leaving the office or home.
