Time and time again South Carolinians reject these bills when they are proposed. They failed to get a single in-person testimony supporting this bill. Show up this legislative session and make republicans learn that the south loves our queers

Apparently Matt Sharp is on deck. He's from the Alliance Defending Freedom and testified in Ohio.

Literally they couldn't even get anyone to fly INTO South Carolina to support this bill, even their ADF folks who author these bills.

1 bill bans prescription consent under 18 because parents know what is best for their children.
Another bans all transgender care under 18 because parents don't know what is best for their children.

MUSC's decision to stop offering gender affirming healthcare can only be described as dereliction of its duty to provide best practice care. They know this is a politically, rather than medically, motivated decision as shown by their cowardice in not even notifying patients

A large hospital, one associated with the oldest medical school in the South, quietly folded to political pressure and ceased offering medical treatments for gender dysphoria to adolescent patients.

Quietly... meaning they did not tell the patients and their families about this.

OAT is sad to report that Shandon Floyd, a trans woman who went missing earlier this month, has been found dead. Our hearts go out to Shandon's family in this incredibly difficult time. We hope RCSD takes the family's concerns seriously and gives Shandon the justice she deserves.

Shandon hasn't been seen in almost a week. We are hoping she's found safe, but yet again we find ourselves expecting the worst because of how SC treats trans women. Yet again we need to depend on ourselves to be protected from harm.
