Its general election time and I am incredibly disappointed that the Lib Dems in Poole are trying to split the Labour Vote and help the conservatives win by using misleading information, just like they did when I stood last time. Please do not believe their fictional graphs.

@mithrandirmike Hi Mike, There are several roads in Poole Town that have been subject to being opened or closed or both over the last few years and residents who feel strongly both ways. I believe that talking to residents is the best way to try to resolve this.

For democracy to work, we must all raise our expectations about integrity in public life. Politics is not a game, but an important occupation that affects peoples lives and livelihoods. Politicians who lie should be thrown out, as would happen if they were health professionals.

If we cannot even protect children in these difficult times then we are truly failing. Will local conservative MPs ever stop defending the mess our government is making and start standing up for local people? If the answer is no, then you know you must vote Labour next time.
