The Budget needed to tackle the cost of living.
Scrapping the two-child limit is welcome - nearly 500,000 children out of poverty.
After a decade of falling incomes we need deeper change to rebalance the economy.
I'll keep pushing to put more money back in families' pockets.
Today, Labour announced the first rail fare freeze in 30 years.
Many families in Poole are still struggling with the cost of living crisis - this is a step in the right direction.
The freeze shows what our railways look like in public hands.
Today I am pleased to be back as a Labour MP. I’ll continue working hard for my constituents in Poole and standing up for Labour values - tackling poverty, raising living standards and building a fairer society.
Incredible that while the former Conservative council leader decided how much our council tax should be raised by, he himself was falsely claiming a 25% discount.
He has now been fined £70.
Yesterday, I joined Dorset @UKLabour MPs @NeilForPoole @HattonLloyd & @TomHayesBmouth
at #DurdleDoor to highlight our shared commitment to action on sewage spills, cleaning up the coastline & protecting water users along the Jurassic Coast; and call for year-round water testing.
*Big transport news!*
We're pleased to reveal that a new jetski commuter service between Poole Quay and Bournemouth Pier is starting from next month! The scheme aims to provide more affordable and reliable transport to workplaces and schools and relieve congestion.
In 1911, she was diagnosed with cancer and she soon moved from London to Southampton, and then to Poole.
She died at the age of 90 in 1954 at 73 Lake Road, Hamworthy. She left her land to the local Labour Party and her house is now the site of the Hamworthy Labour Club.
Happy International Women’s Day!
Marking the occasion, @NeilForPoole has tabled an EDM to commemorate the life of influential suffragette and Hamworthy resident Minnie Baldock.

She joined the Independent Labour Party in 1892 and she was also an active trade union organiser at the Forest Gate steam laundry, where she fought for women's rights in the workplace.
I'm delighted the Government has accepted one of my proposals for the Employment Rights Bill.
Labour is extending the time employees have to lodge an industrial tribunal case to 6 months from the incident.
One small yet impactful change within Labour's transformational plans.
Both @NeilForPoole and @JessicaToale took part in a debate this week on High Street Rental Auctions. This new policy will allow councils to put empty buildings to use, and has the potential to help revive our town centres. But the council needs to seize the opportunity!
❌99.1% of dentists in the South West are not accepting new NHS patients.
I know how tough it is to get a dentist in Bournemouth West and Dorset. That’s why I’ve joined Dorset’s three other Labour MPs in writing to the Health Secretary @wesstreeting, calling for urgent action.
