@AmoweO Hehehe... it must have left an impression.

Movies are one of the best places to discover music. You pretty much can associate it with the scene

67 years ago today, ‘Take Five’ by Dave Brubeck Quartet was released as a single.

It went on to become the best-selling jazz single of the 20th century.

We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.

Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

The tech job market has been brutal for two years.

Talented people are spending 40 hours a week tailoring CVs, answering generic ATS questions, and getting ghosted in return.

The process is broken. So I built an AI agent to automate it.

Meet 10xPloyee. 🧵👇

[Lucius Emmanuel @Emmaccen]

I am beyond frustrated. This is the 5th time in 12 months a "recruiter" has sent me a take-home coding assessment that was actually a trojan horse.

I’m done just deleting these emails, messages and repos. Instead, I’m weaponizing them.

Today, I’m open-sourcing "The Malware Museum"

I decompiled the actual payloads they sent me, neutralized the threats, and uploaded them to a public monorepo.

I broke down exactly how their supply chain attacks and variable masquerading work so you can study them safely.

Before you start a tech assessment, remember:

- NEVER run npm install first. Their postinstall scripts will own your machine instantly.

- Verify the recruiter. Attackers hijack legitimate LinkedIn profiles.

- Artificial Urgency. If they give you a tight "30-minute deadline," they want you to panic and skip security checks.

- AI Auditing. Command your AI to assume the codebase is highly malicious. Don't let it give the code the benefit of the doubt.

Stop letting desperation for a job cloud your judgment. No legit company will rush you to run unverified code.

When @victorosimhen9's "A Prayer From the Gutter" came out on @PlayersTribune, I knew I had to bring it to life because passion is contagious, and you cannot deny Victor's.

https://t.co/PMA5DIgl1S

An interactive audio-visual experience. 6 chapters. 31 art frames. ~20 minutes of narrated audio.

The project is available in 7 languages: English, Turkish for Galatasaray, Italian for Napoli, Yoruba because it's home, French for Lille, Portuguese, and German for Wolfsburg. Every chapter of his career, in the language of the fans who lived it.

I built this weeks after the release of the tribute but held it back. Pitched it to @PlayersTribune through https://t.co/Q8SkIx2kOk to officially partner on this and bring more of their stories to life. A few emails later, no reply. So the work goes public.

Built with Claude (@AnthropicAI) as the engineering partner. Voice narration by @elevenlabsio.

Still a work in progress.

Still tweaking, still adding. But some things you just have to put out into the world and let them grow.

If you're a sports brand or an athlete who wants their story told this way, my door is open.

Victor, if this reaches you: from one Victor in Lagos to another. A prayer from the gutter can reach the sky.

Share it. Tag him. 🇳🇬

A lot of people want to learn AI, but they get stuck because they don’t know where or how to start.
One video says “use ChatGPT.”
Another says “learn Python.” Now you’re stuck somewhere between confusion and procrastination.
That’s exactly why CueTA structured its AI training into 3 levels:

Basic (start) – For beginners
Intermediate (grow) – For growth
Advanced (build) – For technical depth

Kindly go through the slides and see where you fit.
If you’re still unsure, send us a message to book a free consultation.

Here's a mental model that would actually make Next.js Server Components click for you:

Server Components aren't "components that run on the server."

They're components that NEVER ship to the browser.

No hydration. No JS bundle. No re-renders.

They're closer to PHP templates than React components, but you still get the full component model.

The implication: your DB query, your secret env vars, your heavy parsing logic, all of that stays on the server. Zero bytes to the client.

Where people go wrong: Trying to use interactive client side snippets inside them. You can't. They're not interactive. That's the point.

Reach for Server Components first. Drop to "use client" only when you need interactivity.

That boundary is where your architecture lives.

Happy New Month!

Here’s a word to you from our founder:
“To conquer the world, you must first conquer your own self.”

Before the wins, before the recognition, before the impact, there is discipline. There is consistency. There is the quiet decision to grow beyond your excuses and show up even when it's not convenient.

At CueTA, we believe mastering AI starts with mastering how you think, your curiosity, your willingness to learn, and your ability to adapt in a fast-changing world.

Also at CueLABS, we believe building world-class solutions starts with building world-class habits. Showing up, contributing, refining your craft.

So this month, don’t just chase visibility, chase growth. Conquer distractions. Conquer fear. Conquer inconsistency. Because the real competition has always been within you.

Welcome to a new month of intentional growth.

My co-founders Jaco Nel, Deen Hans and I have spent the last 15 years helping developers operate production software. As software engineers, as team leads, as architects, as engineering managers, as CTOs.

During this time, it became clear to us that developers generally know what the right thing to do is - it's just that so much is stacked against us, that best practices are the first thing to go when pressure mounts.

Every (serious) developer knows why tests matter. We know why security is important. We know why instrumentation and observability are key to operating software in production. So why do these operational domains get ignored so often?

Each developer, team and organisation is different, yet patterns emerge.
- Ambitious boards and founders. Leadership always chooses time-to-market (speed) & growing market share.
- Feature Factories: Companies tend to prioritise features over anything else.
- Scarcity: Experienced DevSecOps engineers are scarce. Industry standards show 1 Security engineer supporting 70-90 developers and about 10 SWEs for every DevOps engineer.
- Infrastructure complexity and tooling fatigue.

We know what the right thing to do is. We simply don't get the time, resourcing or focus to do it properly. We prioritise speed. We accept more tech debt in favour of features. We ignore best practices as we don't have the time to deal with infrastructure and tooling complexity.

We don't think we can change this. But we can change how hard it is to do the right thing.

So we built https://t.co/PS33ueED5v.

- Modern developer workflows, from commit to production
- Enterprise infrastructure built for purpose
- AI that operates, so you don't have to do it all

Connect your code. We handle infrastructure, deployment, scaling, security, and operations. Automatically.

The platform is live and already making a difference for our customers.

Follow along for the journey. A story about software engineers that have had enough, a story about turning the tables on everything that stacks against us.
