IRAN'S FOREIGN MINISTER ARAGHCHI: AGREES WITH TRUMP THAT WHOEVER PROVIDES SAFE PASSAGE THROUGH HORMUZ SHOULD BE COMPENSATED; REAFFIRMS IRAN AS ETERNAL GUARDIAN OF THE STRAIT; CALLS 20% CHARGE EXCESSIVE AND PLEDGES IRAN WILL BE FAIR
In volatile markets, prediction is overrated. Planning is underrated.
Every few months, investors ask the same questions:
- “Will Nifty correct more?”
- “Should I stop my SIP?”
- “Is this the right time to invest?”
- “Should I move to cash?”
But the real question is different:
Is your financial plan strong enough to handle market volatility?
Because markets will never move in a straight line.
India will see phases of high valuations, FII selling, election uncertainty, global shocks, crude oil spikes, currency pressure, weak earnings cycles and sudden corrections.
That is normal.
What hurts investors is not volatility.
What hurts investors is reacting emotionally to volatility.
A good financial plan gives clarity on:
- How much money is needed for each goal?
- When that money is required?
- How much equity risk is suitable?
- How much emergency buffer is needed?
- When to rebalance?
- When to stay calm and do nothing?
Without a plan, every correction feels like a crisis.
With a plan, every correction becomes manageable.
Wealth is not created by predicting the next 5% move in Nifty.
Wealth is created by staying invested through many such 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% moves — without making emotional mistakes.
In investing, prediction may give excitement.
Planning gives confidence.
And in the long run, confidence compounds better than excitement.

150-50 Silver. That's my feeling on a guess of the near term zone.
What has been somewhat of an orderly rise day after day since Thanksgiving is about to turn into WILD moves. Both ways.
If you are very long term without leverage, not much to fear. This is why physical is smart.
It's not whether you're right or wrong that's important, but how much money you make when you're right and how much you lose when you're wrong."

Alan Greenspan, chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1987-2006 lived to see three #gold revuations in his lifetime.
1934: $20 to $35
1972: $35 to $38
1973: $38 to $42.22
He passed away today. Only 12 days before the next gold revaluation.
Rest in peace.
Meloni is really a badass!
Trump gave a statement to an Italian TV channel claiming that Meloni had begged him for a photo.
Meloni responded with a video statement (below). Translation: Trump's statements are completely made up. I'm frankly appalled. I don't know why the POTUS behaves this way toward his own allies; after all, it's not the first time it has happened. I can only say it's a shame that he doesn't show the same determination toward the enemies of the West, the enemies of the US (probably a sarcastic taunt at Trump's surrender to Iran), and toward leaders with whom he instead proves far more accommodating. However, there is one thing he must remember: neither I nor Italy ever beg.
BREAKING: President Trump says "there is no $300 billion payment to Iran by the US."
"All there is for the US is success, lower oil prices, and victory. Check out the stock market," Trump says.
