The Work Placement Experience Programme is really just a new JobBridge exploitation scheme.
It should be scrapped, and replaced with investment in a green jobs programme, including properly paid apprenticeships.

Despite a record breaking bumper year with turnover of over $50 billion, Deloitte are using a free labour scheme - this is a disgrace, we're literally picking up the bill for Deloitte to get someone to work for them for free
The worrying trend of our poorly paid public sector paving over cracks continues.
Schools now need to use temporary work schemes to fill essential roles that keep them running
Schools have been through enough turmoil this pandemic, we must commit to resourcing them properly
The special ingredient in our coffee is unpaid labour!
This is a job that should be paid - this scam is causing job-displacement where what would previously have been a paid job is replaced with an unpaid position
They're at it again!
You might remember before Christmas, we protested outside Boylesports because they were attempting to exploit this scheme and some of the ads were taken down. But looks like they're back looking for more free labour.
A new year but the same old crap! Derrycourt Company Limited looking for not 1, not 2, not even 3 but 6 interns!! That's one massive amount in unpaid wages
This is clearly a job that should be paid - but it would really be sickening to be involved in hiring people for (presumably!) paid roles while you're sitting there working for nothing for this company! You'd have ask why they don't hire you on full wages & conditions!
The G Hotel are looking for JobBridge 2.0 worker on €3.43 an hour to do admin.
A room in the G hotel next Saturday costs €335 for the night.
That means it'd take a JobBridge worker 100 hours just to afford one night in the hotel!
Scrap JobBridge 2.0 https://t.co/BBcbmwWdUW

A company looking to fill a couple of jobs with unpaid interns - this is one way to increase profits.
These are clearly two jobs that they are looking to fill for free!
There's a staff shortage in many industries apparently,if they paid better wages maybe they'd be able to get staff!
Instead, with JobBridge 2.0 we have bosses looking for people to work for free, like this job as a tour guide-the scheme needs to be scrapped & fight for better wages
Today the 'Scambridge' campaign mobilised to distribute leaflets outside of Amy Murphy Solicitors Office in Cork
The protest was cut short when those present were informed, by Gardaí summoned to the peaceful protest, that the job listing had been removed
