@adalov3l3ss Mastodon doesn't have a central server but they do sync with each other. (IE. One can follow others on other servers and see their updates). Going to complete my switchover this weekend.

@adalov3l3ss The most useful feature is one can have current / former colleagues leave public recommendations on it. Kind of replaces the old having to call / email one's references in the past.

@dasnoozefin @jimcramer A year ago, CLF was only a mining company. Since then, it acquired AKS and the USA assets of MT to become the largest HRC steel provider in the USA. Despite that, market cap had lagged smaller USA steel producers?

@adalov3l3ss Depends how you define "employer". As an interviewer, I often will look at a candidates LinkedIn profile. (Primarily the recommendations section).

Completed my first week @ Microsoft! Virtual onboarding is quite a different experience but I view it as a new skill set that I'm acquiring. Looking forward to experimenting more with the Azure platform this weekend with my own personal projects!
