Don’t let your privilege—whatever form it takes—cloud your empathy. Every human being deserves dignity. If you participate in denying others their right to be treated with dignity today, you may find that tomorrow, you’ve lost your own dignity, integrity, and humanity. True humanity requires standing for the dignity of all who are oppressed.
On the 165th anniversary of the assassination of John Brown, we remember his fierce commitment to the struggle to end slavery – one that constituted the revolutionary movement of his time.

If you are to blame someone, blame those with the economic and political power to do something about people’s grievances, but have chosen to do nothing- the Democratic Party.
They are actively financing and aiding the expansion of genocide; allowing basic rights like abortion and LGBTQ rights to be rolled back; and ran a campaign playing at being more Trump than Trump himself to cater to conservatives, while at the same time fear mongering and pandering to the most marginalized in society.
They won’t accept responsibility. They will gaslight and blame others.
The people, should not fear or backdown, we must organize!
If you thought climate protesters blocking roads or throwing soup at art behind bullet proof glass was ‘too disruptive’ you’re gonna hate this next part
"I believe that democracy has so far disappeared in the United States that no “two evils” exist. There is but one evil party with two names..." - W.E.B. Du Bois, 1956
It doesn’t fail! Liberals love to argue that socialists (or progressive people) “don’t know how this country runs” or that we “are idealistic” as a way of diminishing radical politics, and validating their own spinelessness.
Socialists approach the world on the basis of history, context, analysis and science- we know exactly how society and governance works under capitalism, and that is why we are so stubborn about transforming it!
We are realistic! We know it is idealistic to believe that our class enemies have our best interest at heart. We have no time to waste, we get at the root of the problem.
“Y'all have played with us for long enough and it's time for workers to stand up and fight back and show our power.”
Naomi Harris w/ @RaiseUptheSouth describes how Waffle House workers won a historic pay raise after months of organizing.

FREE LEONARD PELTIER!
Peltier is one of the longest held prisoners in the U.S., despite worldwide calls for his release. Today he's up for parole—his first hearing in over a decade, and what may be his last chance at freedom.

This is interesting!
It seems to me that there has been nothing but bowing down to Netanyahu for decades. In the last 8 months, bowing down against the will of the people in the U.S. and the world, and against international law/court.
Bowing down and supporting genocide because it benefits the U.S. imperialism… the dictatorship of billionaires that reproduces misery and oppression across the globe.
And bowing down to the most conservative elements of the democrats and to the Republican Party with your executive order.
Betraying immigrants
Betraying the working class
Betraying Muslims, Palestinians, Students, and so many…
Mr President, all you do is bow down!
Also… Biden needs a new comms person/team 🤷🏽♀️
This morning, the #LetCubaLive brigade paid homage to Cuban hero of independence, Antonio Maceo y Grajales. The son of Mariana Grajales Cuello, a strong leader in the fight for an independent Cuba free from slavery, Antonio Maceo and his legacy in the enduring struggle for independence gives us strength and endurance as young people to continue our movements for liberation today.
PRIDE is about liberation! As much as capitalism has attempted to commodify the struggle our commemoration and celebration, this month and every month, is for the legacy of people like #marthapjohnson and #sylviarivera
“Happy Pride!” will be achieved when FULL civil and human rights are expanded, affirmed, upheld and enforced. “Happy Pride” means guaranteed labor rights, healthcare rights, housing rights w/o fear, stigma or discrimination - long live the struggle for liberation 🏳️⚧️ 🏳️🌈

“These are dangerous times, decadent times they tell us to be sad. They tell us to despair, they tell us to have no hope, but we are here to tell our enemies that we are building our own hope.” —@manolo_realengo

On this Memorial Day, and in remembrance of #AaronBushnell, we must continue to uplift the voices of conscientious objectors who have, and are opposing the U.S. war machine and its genocide.
We remember those who have committed suicide as a result of a war economy that uses poverty and false promises to recruit them, only to use and abandon them once they are back. Our people bleed and serve as canon fodder in wars they have no business in.
The best way to honor those who have lost their lives is to end the U.S. war machine. Allow our people to serve and build this country in life giving projects- not for destruction, extraction and death.
It’s not lost on me this Memorial Day that Aaron Bushnell lit himself on fire saying “This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal.” And now 3 months later we’re watching people burn alive in Rafah.
