he's merely creative on top of his many other impressive qualities. but yes, he's wondered once or twice. see? admitting something isn't so bad.

heartfelt? well, he's not really in the mood for revealing his deepest secrets today, so maybe he'll pass on that offer. he's not really that desperate to see him teary eyed.
little correction: he was standing around, looking incredibly smackable. there is a very important difference. one way, sure, and probably a pretty failproof one. but boring. so, alternatively, he could tell him something more . . . heartfelt.
