During talks between U.S. and Iranian delegations in Pakistan, the topic of Ukraine unexpectedly came up.
While discussing U.S. guarantees in the event that Iran halts uranium enrichment and abandons the development of nuclear weapons, the Iranian side asked how the United States is fulfilling the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, in which it pledged to respect and protect Ukraine’s sovereignty.
The U.S. delegation left the question unanswered.

After publicly claiming 3 officers were injured by having an acid sprayed at them. The Police, media and Commissioner have all been provided with footage of the 3 officers being sprayed with pepper spray, by a fellow officer.

It still beggars belief that any Kiwi has to apply to enter NZ. And beyond all comprehension that any New Zealander supports that system in any way. Home is home and we used to have a really good home here, with some very decent people. Not sure who we are anymore.

I'd be less confused by the standard explanation that NZ is delaying our border opening "to give us time to prepare for Omicron" if we had demonstrated any urgency with in fact preparing for Omicron.
