I'm not normally one for publicly praising companies, but holy crap Expatfile was SO much easier and nicer to use than Turbotax. If you haven't filed yet, get $40 off with the referral code https://t.co/PwDbYmLb8M.

Longshot - a British friend of a friend is stuck in Washington DC (at a family bedside in hospital) but their belongings are in NYC. I don’t suppose I know anyone travelling NYC-DC this week who might be able to take a suitcase? RTs much appreciated.
As soon as @AO3_Status went down, two books on hold that weren’t due to be able to be checked out for several weeks mysteriously became available. Not saying it was cause and effect, but…

@HillaryMonahan We went through multiple lengthy processes to adopt cats in the US with no luck. Moved to Ireland and found two adorable cats at a local rescue whose process was a brief phone call to ensure we weren’t going to try and sell them on (fixed purebred ragdolls). We were stunned.
It's also worth pointing out *why* this is happening. We used to need teams to specialize in front & back because there was *so much* surface area that needed specialist expertise.
Most of which we now consume as libraries, services, or products. We have ALL moved up the stack.
Wait this explains so much.
In the US they used to have to give me a ton for the necessary effect. (Being half ginger doesn’t explain all that.)
Here in Ireland it takes the tiniest bit, and she uses non-epi (which I only know because I commented on how much nicer it felt).
Dental Freezing (Numbing) Formula that works great for many patients with CTDs:
1/2 mepiva w/out epi, 1 art w/epi 1:100,000
“art” stands for “articaine”.
We need low to no epi mixed in or it goes out too fast.

@clhubes With the number of times I shout "clean your butt!" at one of the cats when they come out of the litter box I suppose that puts them slightly above the level of a toddler.
@TruthAutistic Absolutely. I see it as your body (anyone’s) is only capable of handling so much, so when already dealing with pain there’s less capacity to deal with anything else. Particularly when it would require extra resources even at the best of times.
