One of my neighbors slapped her son cause he kept throwing his ball around as she mopped. This boy said “wait when my daddy come back he wee flog you very well.”

He was almost 6 at the time.

There is no universe in which it is okay to hit your partner. Worse, in front of kids.

The Catholic Church needs to look into the issue of domestic abuse & divorce. The church forbids divorce but I think the church should be more flexible when it comes to DV. Marriage shouldn’t be a do or diiee affair. What happens after separating the victim from their abuser?
