@the_moral_abc Re: socializing during the week, I heard somewhere “if you wait until you’re not tired to do things outside of work, you’re just never going to do them. You just have to do it tired.” Honestly changed my outlook but also potentially go get bloodwork done lol
i think thinking about yourself too much is a common form of modern neurosis. you can’t think yourself out of a problem most of the time you just have to do things and live. you’ll be surprised at how many things end up resolving themselves that way
@jzux i put on a playlist for called “when the voices are too loud” and it’s just really loud music that you can’t possibly have a thought while it’s playing
The literal #1 most suicidal belief you can have is that you’re an introvert/socially anxious/don’t like people.
I was this guy until around 22. Thought I was better than everyone else and actively chose not to be social.
Life completely changed when I started interacting with random people and just trying to make them laugh. Opportunities opened up, made relationships with people I never thought possible. Everything was just less dull and boring. Every day was fun for no reason.
You cannot be a lone wolf. It’s a mental illness.
Life is meaningless without people.
You cannot control another person’s sexual attraction and assuming that someone having feelings of desire towards anyone other than you means they must not love you is a prison of your own making
i’m normally so chill at work but i was just on THE most frustrating (internal) call with a bunch of west coast people and canadians and NOTHING was being accomplished bc everyone just talks pleasantries and dances around things and i couldn’t even hide the frustration on my face and just hijacked the conversation and told everyone exactly what they need to do to make this work bc i simply could not tolerate it anymore and our masshole boss started laughing on camera and was like “thank you naz, finally someone said it” lmaoooo im sorry but being from the northeast makes everyone else SO FUCKING FRUSTRATING TO DEAL WITH!!!
I love fast direct people. Love them. If you’re not used to fast people you might find them crass or mean. But they’re just fast. They want to get you there, they want the job done, and they know how to do it. That’s more important than any flattery
I could never live in LA like I just walked into an ice cream shop and saw ryan beatty so I said “Okay so that’s ryan beatty” out loud and he lowkey heard me
