I still can't get over the fact that the Canadian government is not ashamed by the fact that they are giving people money for groceries. In any normal country, this would be an abject admission of total failure.
Too little, too late, IMO. #bricksAndMinifigs has done far too much damage to their brand, and need to back off Reckless Ben as well. If it wasn’t for Reckless Ben, Bryan Mansell would still be out of his collection - and nothing Ben did was unlawful - civilly or criminally.
Bricks & Minifigs is parting ways with Brandon Best and Joshua Johnson due to "a devastating social media campaign"
They say they have reached out to the family that owns the $200,000 LEGO collection to return it and offer compensation for any missing items
I have Canadian citizenship. I will still have Canadian citizenship after Alberta secedes. Don’t like it? Too bad.
And don’t worry, “troll hunter”, I won’t look back. Just don’t come crying to Alberta when Canada’s economy collapses.
@lmi6ty I suspect schools of business will use this scandal for case studies in crisis management, ethics, record keeping, and public relations - to name a few.
BREAKING: Treaty 8 Grand Chief Trevor Mercredi said at a press conference Thursday that the government is “ignoring the courts” and called the UCP “lawless” for proceeding.
Mercredi warned that civil disobedience, including blocking highways and stopping industry, remains on the table if the referendum moves forward without meaningful consultation.
@sweetdizzydee@CoryBMorgan@WesternIndepen1 Hah, you’ll be fine. Calgarians believe in free speech and all that. I lived in the hood and had a Wildrose Party sign on my lawn, and was left completely alone.
@CoryBMorgan@susan_anne19571 My place out east of Calgary is available as a pickup spot if you’re looking for one in this direction. Not posting my address publicly, but email or DM me so we can talk.
🚨 BREAKING: Treaty 8 leaders threaten highway blockades to stop an Alberta referendum.
Ironically, Jason Kenney’s Bill 1 already made blocking critical infrastructure illegal.
Albertans have the right to vote. Democracy cannot be held hostage by highway threats.
