“We’re honored to bring these talented creators to such an iconic stage, lighting the path for future readers and storytellers.”
We want to thank everyone who participated in this wonderful event and wish everyone a Happy Halloween!🎃
SCBWI celebrated Halloween by attending HALLO-READ, an event hosted by the President and First Lady at The White House. This year’s theme was selected by Dr. Biden, who was a teacher for over 40 years. She incorporated her love of reading into this spooktacular event.
children’s book creators whose books inspire creativity and spark joy across generations. “Our collaboration with the White House for HALLO-READ reflects SCBWI’s mission to nurture a lifelong love for reading,” said Sarah Baker, SCBWI’s Executive Director.
The kids and I are loving this compilation of spooky tales written by SCBWI authors. We play this game: Name a state you know, and let's read the story! @SCBWI_SoBreeze@scbwi#kidlit#Halloween
