Counter Culture is a coffee table book written by Jay Montessori and Brendan Wyatt.
It charts 25 years of British working class fashion (1977 - 2002)
643pages, 14 chapters and over 1000 vintage pieces from our own personal collection, this book weighs in at a whopping 4.5 Kg and is 340mm x 270mm.
It covers many different periods and subcultures starting in the 70s with the soul boys and takes us on a journey through the 80s and on to the noughties looking closely at different groups such as football casuals, paninaro, acid house, hip hop and many more.
With detailed contributions from lads from all around the country who lived through them eras.
A brilliant 10 page foreword from The Farms Peter Hooton accompanies the 14 chapters of which some people who have have purchased this book are calling the bible.
