We are happy to share the great news that IFFCO marking yet another defining milestone in its journey of innovation by pioneering nanofertilizer technology for the world. It is a matter of immense national pride that IFFCO, which introduced the first FCO approved nanofertilizers in India, has once again led from the front by bringing forth the indigenously developed Nano NPK Liquid (8-8-10) and Nano NPK Granular (20-10-10). Building upon the success of earlier innovations, both these products have now been duly approved under the Fertilizer Control Order (FCO), as notified in the recent Gazette of India. These first of their kind formulations represent a significant advancement towards balanced crop nutrition by integrating both foliar and basal application methods, thereby reinforcing IFFCO’s leadership in sustainable agricultural innovation and showcasing India’s growing strength in advanced agri-technologies.

This breakthrough is a significant step in service of Indian farmers, ensuring enhanced nutrient use efficiency, improved soil health, and higher crop productivity. Nano NPK Liquid is designed for foliar nutrition, while Nano NPK Solid (20-10-10) is a novel nano formulation catering to both soil application and root feeding. Together, they enable precise and targeted nutrient delivery aligned with peak crop requirements. These innovations substantially reduce the need for conventional chemical fertilizers, lower input costs, and support improved yield and superior quality produce, all while minimizing environmental impact. This reflects IFFCO’s unwavering commitment to empowering farmers with efficient, modern, and eco-friendly agricultural solutions.

In the prevailing global scenario marked by geopolitical uncertainties affecting fertilizer supply chains, this development stands as a matter of great importance for the nation. It significantly contributes to India’s journey towards self-reliance in fertilizers by reducing import dependency and conserving valuable foreign exchange. Aligned with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, it also strengthens the cooperative ethos of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi,” ensuring inclusive growth, national resilience, and sustainable prosperity for farmers and the country at large. This achievement reiterates IFFCO’s continuous commitment to ushering in transformative nano fertiliser technologies for the benefit of farmers, the nation, and mankind as a whole.

Today, I had the privilege of meeting the esteemed former officials and employees of IFFCO who dedicated many valuable years of service to the organization and have now retired. The occasion was the annual program organized by the IFFCO Retirees Welfare Association at FMDI, Gurugram.

Meeting all of you was truly a nostalgic and heartwarming experience. For me personally, it brought back many cherished memories, as I had the honour of working alongside most of you during different phases of our journey at IFFCO. Your dedication, wisdom, and commitment have played a vital role in shaping the strong foundation on which IFFCO stands today.

Today, I along with Shri Dileep Sanghani Ji, Chairman, IFFCO had the honour of calling on Shri J. P. Nadda Ji, Hon’ble Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilisers, at his residence office in New Delhi.
It was a highly meaningful and interactive meeting. We reiterated IFFCO’s unwavering commitment to manufacturing world-class quality fertilisers and soil nutrients at our production units and ensuring their timely availability to farmers across the country. We also shared insights into our ongoing plant operations and initiatives aimed at strengthening efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.

We also shared that IFFCO remains deeply rooted in its founding mission of service to farmers. With utmost respect for our farming community, we will continue to work with dedication and responsibility to provide efficient, effective, and scientifically advanced soil nutrition solutions for the prosperity of Indian agriculture.

Yesterday, I arrived in Bhubaneswar with my wife, Smt. Mamta Patel @mamtakjpatel ji, to be with the IFFCO Paradeep family and take part in the Republic Day celebrations at the Paradeep Unit. It is a matter of great pride and joy to celebrate this significant national occasion together. During the visit, I will also tour the plant and interact with our employees and officials. I am truly delighted by the warm and gracious welcome extended by the Unit Head, Shri P. K. Mahapatra ji, along with other officials.

The social development activities and programmes undertaken by IFFDC in the state of Odisha stand as a remarkable example of inclusive and people centric growth. I inaugurated an exhibition showcasing these development initiatives at IFFDC Office. It reflects a deep commitment to social responsibility and grassroots development.

I am personally inspired and deeply moved by the brilliant development work carried out by IFFDC, particularly its focused efforts toward empowering women in rural villages. Through skill development, livelihood enhancement, and community-based initiatives, IFFDC has played a significant role in improving the socio-economic conditions of women, enabling them to become self-reliant, confident, and active contributors to their families and communities.

I received a warm and gracious welcome from Sh. P K Mahapatra Unit Head, Paradeep, along with other senior officials upon my arrival at the IFFCO Paradeep Unit. I was also honoured with a ceremonial guard of honour. I am deeply thankful for this heartfelt gesture, which made the visit truly memorable and filled me with pride to be a part of the IFFCO family.

Along with Smt. Mamata Patel @mamtakjpatel, I had the pleasure of inaugurating the Rose Garden at the IFFCO Paradeep Plant. Soon, a variety of roses will bloom together, enriching the unit with color, fragrance, and life.
Beyond its beauty, this garden will nurture a peaceful ecosystem offering calm, relaxation, and a gentle space for mental well-being. The inauguration was also graced by the presence of the Unit Head, officials, and representatives of the Employees’ Union and Officers’ Association of IFFCO Paradeep Unit.

At IFFCO, aquariums are a living tradition across our plants, reflecting care, balance, and harmony. I, along with my wife Smt. Mamta Patel @mamtakjpatel, had the gentle joy of feeding the fishes at the Guest House aquarium of IFFCO Paradeep Plant. In that quiet moment, the act felt like caring for family, nurturing life with love and mindfulness.

Beyond sustaining a healthy ecosystem, this simple ritual soothes the heart, eases the mind, and fills the space with calm, positive energy. Other plant officials also accompanied.

Today, during my visit to the IFFCO Paradeep Plant, I had the pleasure of meeting Shri P. L. Haranadh (IRTS), Chairman, Paradip Port Authority (PPA). I warmly greeted and felicitated him during my visit. We had a very cordial and engaging discussion on various matters related to port facilities and services, as well as the strong spirit of mutual cooperation between IFFCO and the Paradip Port Authority.

The interaction reflected PPA’s commitment to efficient services and collaborative partnership, making the meeting both pleasant and highly fruitful. Shri P. K. Mahapatra, Unit Head, IFFCO Paradeep, was also present during the meeting. @paradipport
