We often rely on negative feelings to know when to make changes in our lives, and telling young easily impressionable teens on twitter that jealousy/frustration makes them a bad person is irresponsible. 🤷‍♂️

A lot of twitter seems to forget that negative and /bad/ emotions are still valid to experience. You don't force yourself to be angry or jealous, it happens out of your personal control. What IS under your control is how you navigate these feelings, personally + also externally.

All the cc's currently talking about the Manatreed situation and how ugly jealousy is, they're right yes, but acting like being jealous or feeling left out makes you a bad person isn't right. Especially telling this to teenagers!
