Our role as the adults is to prepare, conserve this planet and hand ito very to the owners (the next generation). Since a child spends more time at school, a teacher plays a big role in preparing them for the future. From this background @CJusticeAfrica launches the #CCIE
To the mothers holding it down, the women raising children, carrying homes, stretching little into enough, wiping tears, making hard choices, and still finding the strength to show up with love every day: we see you.
You are not “just mothers.” You are builders of people, homes, communities, and futures. You are raising a whole generation, often while carrying your own fears, fatigue, dreams, and silent battles.
This #MothersDay, we celebrate every mother, grandmother, auntie, sister, guardian, and caregiver whose love and sacrifice keep the world standing.
Let’s give mothers their flowers while they can still smell them. 🌸
Tag a mother or caregiver who deserves to be celebrated today, and tell her one thing you deeply appreciate about her.

“Mentorship is holding each other accountable, and it is holding space for each other. We are all standing on the shoulders of women who made it their life’s work for us to have the opportunities we have today; we must find ways to pay it forward.”
FIDA-Uganda, in partnership with @unwomenuganda, @NLinUganda under the @GlobalSpotlight: Her Access Integrated SRHR and SGBV Response project, proudly celebrated the graduation of Cohort IV mentees under the FIDA-U Leadership Academy Mentorship Programme, a space that brings together young women and men in law, mentors, allies, and justice actors committed to nurturing the next generation of gender-just legal professionals. 👩🏾⚖️👨🏾⚖️

We are championing a greener alternative to charcoal through substituting it with briquettes made out of organic waste. This will reduce pressure on trees, reduce greenhouse gas emissions while promoting proper management of organic waste and also generating incomes #GreenEnergy
Today we celebrate the continued leadership of the #EcofeministClimateFellows under Girls for Climate Actionyoung women who are actively shaping climate and gender policy conversations.
Across different advocacy spaces, these fellows have been contributing powerful perspectives grounded in the realities of communities living on the frontlines of climate change.
Most recently, they developed and presented a collective position paper designed to inform discussions at #CSW70, 2026. The paper brings forward the lived experiences of communities, highlighting the intersection between climate impacts and gender inequality, while calling for stronger feminist and community-driven climate policies.
By documenting realities, amplifying voices, and engaging in policy dialogue, these young ecofeminist leaders continue to show that meaningful climate action must be rooted in justice, inclusion, and lived experience.
Their work reminds us that policy becomes stronger when it listens to the communities it is meant to serve.

For many women and girls, menstruation still comes with exclusion instead of support, limiting their participation, confidence, and sense of belonging in spaces where they have every right to be.
It’s time to replace stigma with support in schools, workplaces, and communities where menstruation is understood, and respected. @FJS
