My own campaign aside for a second, it's absolutely rotten to see FF/FG walk back into power, knowing what this means for so many

Way forward now is to get back into communities + streets to campaign on issues that matter most. Raising the sights & empowering ppl is the key!

@sorcham12 Believe me I have been banging this drum for a long time. I wanted left solidarity for the locals. Post-election I took down posters for Lorna Bogue all over Clare. Unfortunately, this was not the party position. Right now I am at the count centre supporting Donna and SF.

Sorry Sorcha. We (SocDems) had a small team of volunteers. Generally not more than 2 on a canvas, sometimes had to go solo. In a 3 week period we canvassed hundreds of homes and put up well over 100 posters in the height of winter. We all work and did what we could when we could.

I voted SF, PBP & Soc Dems but not one single left party canvassed our door. Not one single candidate canvassed our estate at all. Only gov party reps canvassed our estate and it’s one of the most prominent in town. The Soc Dems candidate lives here. The left must do better #GE24

@sorcham12 It's a long road given our resources and the fact that FF/FG have infiltration of all volunteer organisations and dominate the council. Locals will be big next time to start this journey. We need more members, all help welcome.

@sorcham12 Myself and one of the other volunteers were canvassing the road on Wednesday and were told that estate was seen to, which is disappointing. We seriously needed more volunteers. Timmy had 80+ people canvassing with him in Shannon. We never had more than 4 people for a whole county

Hands down funniest election statistic I’ve seen is 0% of People before Profit voters giving their second preference to Labour
