This is just to say
that I've eaten the potato side dish you left on the stove
and which was clearly meant to accompany dinner in several hours
forgive me
they were delicious and just sitting there
and I hadn't had any carbs yet today.
To get better you need to put in the work. Show up. Be consistent. Work hard AND smart. Surround yourself with people who will push you and hold you accountable; who will keep you grounded when you soar and pick you up when you fall.
A big sign of looming burnout is a feeling of dread about (and when) you are working AND a feeling of dread about (and when) you are not working.
-Force yourself to rest for at least two days
-Cut out the crap
-Blocks for deep-focus work
-Focus on device hygiene (less checking)
