Well well well… it was acceptable when she said it during her campaign, but unacceptable when Trump is actually carrying it out.
I’d say this didn’t age well, but it’s really just the hypocrisy.
Bernie Sanders in 2015: "Open borders? … That's a right-wing proposal which says essentially there is no US. It would make everybody in America poorer… What rightwing people in this country would love is an open-border policy… I don't believe in that."
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I speak for millions of Americans when I say,
“We will not rest until the Senate sends the SAVE Act to President Trump’s desk.”
SAVE Act or bust.
Respectfully.
Peacefully.
Today as the Dead faithful celebrated the life of Bob Weir, John Mayer delivered perhaps the only “Ripple” that’s ever made me smile-cry… Highly suggest.😔
Actor David Spade raising awareness that a bill was introduced in California to audit where the $20+ billion dollars in missing homeless money went, it passed but then Gavin Newsom VETOED the bill to block the investigation
Yes, this really happened. He blocked bills for an audit MULTIPLE TIMES
Bipartisan bill AB 2903 (unanimous passed 72-0 in the Assembly, 40-0 in the Senate) would’ve forced annual public reports on where the money went
Newsom vetoed it.
Gavin Newsom also vetoed similar bills AB 2570 and AB 2093
“The same broader problem with people paying taxes in California — The homeless, they lose $20 billion, but they want more money for it. That's why people get tired of paying taxes and going, what are you doing? Gavin Newsom just vetoed a bill asking for an audit of where the money for homeless goes. He said, not a chance. You're not gonna see that. That's the problem.”
I’ve asked him for 15 days.
I’ve emailed his scheduler.
I’ve emailed his legislative director.
I’ve even showed up — respectfully — to his DC office.
Why does Senator Thune refuse to allow a vote on the SAVE Act?
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Bobby Weir. We send him off the way he sent so many of us on our way: with a farewell that isn’t an ending, but a blessing. A reward for a life worth livin'. https://t.co/2qdBbh80v1

Imagine the fraud…

$593 billion a year
New York NGOs:
119,559
$446 billion a year
Minnesota NGOs:
42,861
$120 billion a year.
New Jersey NGOs:
58,000
$113 billion a year
Washington NGOs
46,679
$140 billion a year
Just a few examples.
Insane.
🚨 Here is the full 42 minutes of my crew and I exposing Minnesota fraud, this might be my most important work yet. We uncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day. Like it and share it around like wildfire! Its time to hold these corrupt politicians and fraudsters accountable
We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening, the fraud must be stopped.
A horrific story out of Delaware. State Trooper Corporal Grade One Matthew T. Snook murdered in the line of duty. He leaves behind a wife and 1 year old daughter. I can’t think of a more important cause this Xmas than raising money for the family. As always 100% of proceeds will go directly to them and I will match 100%. I know money doesn’t lesson the pain in these situations but I did have the opportunity recently to sit with 3 widows from prior donation drives we’ve done. All of them said despite the tragedy they can’t put into words how much our support meant to them. We’re asking for help 1 more time

28 years ago tonight, December 18, 1997, NBC aired Seinfeld’s Festivus episode, “The Strike.”
In it, the Costanzas mark Festivus on December 23rd, complete with grievances, feats of strength, and that famous aluminum pole.
