Delighted to share the Ofsted report for Kirkstead Junior school. A school previously judged as failing and now βoutstandingβ in leadership. Testament to the staff, children, community and the power of the Flying High family. https://t.co/veX6pEbjBx
Preparing for our final lesson in science for this term. Creating an authentic outcome for our learners - linking knowledge to a final product by making wax melts. They can take these home and share their learning as well! @pvacademies@_anneingle@melbentley74
Wishing Mrs Ball good luck as she runs the Manchester Marathon on Sunday to raise money for new sports kits for our children.
Sponsor forms are in the reception offices at each school if you'd like to support her.
Incredibly proud of the children, this week Mr W and I looked at books with the children. They could articulate their learning, identify the sticky knowledge and link it to their previous learning. All of the children demonstrated confidence and Pride! Wow! #stickyknowledge π₯°
@pvacademies@_anneingle Great science lesson this afternoon. Using our knowledge of dissolving, filtering and solutions to create a delicious glass of lemonade! @ILSCITT here is an example of working scientifically in action: purposeful learning that the children will remember.
Positivity vibes for you all today @pvacademies One of the wonderful children took their own time to create positive reminders for us when things get tough. These will be kept in our class and shared when we need that boost!
