@magi_jay sadly i think the NYT article was a turning point. they expected worse so now they think it's over and are doubling down on him. i expect him to get nearly 70% tomorrow followed by fawning press about the new face of the party

@ijbailey Dems have turned the corner on him after the NYT article. every day a new Senator endorses him. Maine party leaders who were urging backup plans are now all in and think the scrutiny is actually helping him. Unless something criminal comes out he will get the party's support
