How have I suffered?
Let me count the ways:

• Crime that's made neighborhoods feel less safe

• During Metro Surge police were told to stand down multiple times. Roads were blocked by protesters. Businesses were being damaged. They were throwing bricks at ICE agents. Driving through the cities was eerily frightening. Protesters that were from out of state stopped my vehicle demanding my license. They surrounded my car. All the while, knowing that our politicians were encouraging all this chaos. Knowing that they will protect the criminals over me, a law abiding citizen. It’s very unsettling. I know they used signal chat and scanned my license plate. What are they going to do with my information?

• Taxes that keep climbing while the state still found a way to lose a billion-plus to fraud

• Being spun by the media instead of told the truth

• Kids' test scores sliding while Mississippi, once last in the nation, turned its reading scores around. It affects me because children are our future.

• A 2023 law making Minnesota a "refuge" for gender treatments for minors, decisions I believe should wait until adulthood

• Driver's licenses regardless of legal status, and cities limiting cooperation with ICE

• A new state flag we never got to vote on, replacing one people loved

Peggy Flanagan had a seat at the table for all of it. That's why I don't trust her, and why I'm voting Tafoya.

I went to the DMV to renew my car tabs and the bill was $950. Why do Minnesotans pay so much for license tabs? I may need to register my car in South Dakota so I can afford the license tabs. DFL loves taxing the hell out of us.
