Dokomi closing thoughts (long).
tl;dr- Dokomi was awesome, I would definitely come back even just as an attendee which is very high praise.
Downsides:
- Germany trains have not left a good impression on me for reliabilty, definitely just fly.
- Like most of the EU, Germany is allergic to AC. It's brutal. No joke, it's worse than the Philippines for heat if it even gets mildly hot. Even the hotel AC is sad and weak.
- Cab are a scam.
- Plane tickets are pricey.
Upsides:
- Almost everyone speaks English.
- The fans are awesome and friendly.
- Cheap, controlled, day drinking. No one getting blackout drunk or belligerent. Just enough drinking for vibes, super chill.
- Unbelievably gigantic space with so many things to do. I think the floor space is 5-7x bigger than AX. There's literally too much to see and do.
- Tons of fantastic cosplay and godlike artists

Dokomi is everything AX wishes it was. I joked with Germans, drank with Italians, talked to French, Dutch, Swedish vtuber fans. All in one day. It baffles me how less than a hundred years ago this place was at war. We live in a fantastic era. Not perfect. But wonderful nonetheless. I hope everyone reading this is able to visit Dokomi at least once in their life. 10/10
