The Olivet boys’ XC squad secured a 4th-place finish in the CAAC White standings after a 3rd-place effort in Thursday’s jamboree. Lucas Hopkins & Conner Fountain finished 2nd & 4th, respectively, en route to 1st-team All-CAAC honors. Daniel Dryer & Evan Schaefer earned HM status.
Lucas Hopkins placed 7th out of 136 runners at Saturday’s Gabriel Richard Invitational in Dexter, leading the OHS boys’ XC team to a 7th-place finish. Teammates Conner Fountain (30th), Evan Schaefer (50th), Daniel Dryer (56th) & Landen Gessner (68th) also had top-half finishes.
Ethan Schaefer reaches paydirt from 11 yards out…and also runs in the PAT! Olivet now leads Lansing Catholic, 21-14, with 11:54 left in the 4th quarter…
The Olivet boys XC squad placed 2nd in its own Pink Invite at The Country Mill in Charlotte this morning. Medal winners for the Eagles were Lucas Hopkins (1st), Conner Fountain (5th), Evan Schaefer (16th) & Daniel Dryer (20th).

The sophomore running back carried the ball 28 times for 263 yards and 4 touchdowns in Olivet’s 33-6 Homecoming victory over Eaton Rapids Friday night.
