But when you buy beef at the grocery store, you still won't necessarily know which beef is the lower-priced foreign product and which came from cattle born, raised and harvested in the United States.

And American cattle producers are left competing against increasing volumes of lower-priced foreign beef without a label that allows consumers to distinguish their U.S.-produced beef in the marketplace.

@leereichmuth My opinion….Board structure on fats, and when coverage is greater than the index, lrp on feeders. Right now lrp is a hard to buy since the cash index is leading futures so much especially in the deferred months so I lean to options. I’m a broker and a crop insurance agent.
