@ShamoDiyar @Shahrwaraz1 @SemireXalti @Ezidixr @DrRebin93 ibn taymiyya only criticizes the family tree spread by his followers, just as he criticized the silsila of him. but the umayyad origin is not rejected as such. ibn taymiyya elsewhere praises sheikh adi as "adi ibn musafir the umayyad". he did not deny his umayyad origins.
