Just want to give a shoutout to the @SpaceX production, camera and Starlink teams. The views during yesterday's Starship test flight, in crispy 4K, were beautiful.
We got some new camera views on this flight. Starship V3 features a record 50 cameras, and Starlink provided a reliable feed of everything without issue, even during reentry with the plasma blanket.
The drones, stationary cameras, onboard cameras, graphics, knowledgable presenters (shoutout @kate_tice, @CommiNathan, @danhuot), etc. The production quality on SpaceX's launch livestreams is second to none.
Tesla Santana Row will be reopening tomorrow with a full focus on self-driving. Everything in the showroom is about Robotaxi and Cybercab with stats and information about the technology. The Cybercab on display is the production model.
"A guy looked at my airplane the other day and said I wonder how many people I could have fed for the price of that airplane...
I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families at the Dassault factory where it was built. I’m sure it fed a bunch of families that rolled the aluminum at the Alcoa factory. It surely fed a lot of people at the Honeywell factory where the experts built the turbines. It fed a whole company for a few weeks when I had them build me a new interior. It feeds the families of the linemen that fuel it.
That’s the difference between capitalism and a welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.
When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth.
Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.
Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for."
A Tesla owner slept overnight in his Model X Plaid during a brutal 40°C heat wave in Austria. The car kept the cabin at 20°C for 8 hours and used only 12% battery.
Camp Mode is one of Tesla’s most underrated features.
Our internal assessment is that Grok 4.5 is roughly comparable to Opus 4.7, but much faster. The combination of capability, faster speed and lower cost is what makes it competitive.
We are closing the loop on real-world usefulness, not benchmarks. Hardcore engineers at Tesla & SpaceX find Grok 4.5 genuinely useful, which is what actually matters.
Sudden and awful news about Senator Lindsey Graham.
The United States Senate lost a foreign policy giant. On a personal level, he had always been kind, gracious, and thoughtful.
Gisele and I extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and staff.
SpaceX President and COO Gwynne Shotwell and her husband have announced that they are donating ~$325 million of SpaceX stock to Trump Accounts for more than two million children across the U.S.
Every one of those kids will now have a direct stake in a company whose mission is the most ambitious in human history: to make life multi-plantary 🚀

Starlink beaming internet from space to my Cybertruck so we can watch the World Cup live.
Tesla FSD taking us across the U.S. autonomously.
You see, we may be on the same road, but the way we are experiencing the journey is completely different.
The products of Elon’s companies make me feel like I’m living in the future.
