Platform Engineer
Infrastructure glued with Go, bash and other assorted elements. Everything, eventually breaks.

@archeohistories I'm pretty sure that's Guillermo in a costume!

@jeromeschneider Where did you get it? Did you get US keyboard? I'm surprised with 4k the battery lasts that long.

[schedrun @schedrun]

@jeromeschneider I'm chasing myself a laptop, so far I like the Thinkpad X1 Extreme G5 (battery apparently doesn't last), Lenovo Z16 and Dell XPS 15 9520. I'm waiting to see if Dell releases a XPS 16. All have options with 4k screen. The HiDPI can be annoying sometimes.

@joshrosso First approach is more explicit, as an example Sentry's Go SDK uses the first pattern

err := sentry.Init(sentry.ClientOptions{})

[Kent Beck 🌻 @KentBeck]

Talking with a senior engineer I noticed a pattern. There were bugs. Nobody knew how many. They weren't on anyone's roadmap.

So the engineer dug in. Discovered curious & horrifying facts. Discovered a lack of organizational urgency. Fixed stuff. Encouraged others to fix stuff.

[schedrun @schedrun]

@joshrosso How long does it take your training session combined?
It's great to exercise in the morning and keeps me pretty awake at work.

Ready for another promising talk #KubeConEU - day 2

Similarities everywhere https://t.co/RymTIMmfS8

[schedrun @schedrun]

@Vodafone_CZ I don't see any status page like UPC had before, but a packet loss > 80% might be worth looking into it

[schedrun @schedrun]

@iximiuz I believe the project layout helped to extend that pattern, although there's already an issue to suggest a change

50 years ago, the first edition of Unix was released. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

[schedrun @schedrun]

@Kosai106 that looks much better! it's completely messed up real estate in Paris. Did you think about moving back and being fully remote?

[schedrun @schedrun]

@majorhayden Nikka Coffey Malt (Japanese), Oban 14 ...

[Chris Sev @chrissev]

remote is the way

[schedrun @schedrun]

@Kosai106 it's an amazing place to live!! ;)

[schedrun @schedrun]

Et voila c'est tout RTFM https://t.co/9QiVOtqlKp 😂

[schedrun @schedrun]

Lamentable, así estan las cosas...

[schedrun @schedrun]

@Kosai106 I got an RX580 and it was a blast, I can't imagine something like that! nice upgrade ;-)
