On September 15, 2025, air traffic controllers in Norway reported contact with an unidentified object flying parallel to a military helicopter at 2,000 meters. Pilots described it as matte black with irregular geometry, moving effortlessly without visible propulsion. The helicopter’s sensors malfunctioned temporarily, forcing an emergency descent. Civilian witnesses from Bergen captured photos showing the dark craft overtaking the helicopter before vanishing into clouds. Aviation analysts later confirmed no registered flight path in that sector at the time. The encounter remains classified as “aerial anomaly type-IV.”
