For all installation projects we require a 60% deposit and a balance on completion e.g. (1st fix, second fix and commissioning) or subject to contract if separate construction contract is in place. Note: Payment terms are 30 days from the date the invoices are issued.

Earlier today, @uetcl's board of directors presented the Corporate Strategic Plan (CSP) for the period 2024-2029 and the Grid Development Plan (GDP) 2023-2024 to me and the Minister of Finance, Planning & Economic Development, @MatiaK5 for review as shareholders.

We approved the CSP & GDP pledging support towards its implementation in line with UETCL's new tagline “Transmitting for Transformation”.

These plans directly speak into the NDP III, the Energy Policy and Government of Uganda’s Vision 2040.

I also congratulate UETCL on the successful completion of the Kole Gulu Nebbi Arua Transmission Line that will connect West Nile to the national grid.
