“Our belief is that the value of compute per watt will increase over time, not decrease. And the reason for that, I think it should be obvious to people is that as you improve AI, as the models get better and better, they're able to you get more useful intelligence per watt. And the value of that compute is proportionate to the useful intelligence per watt produced. And that's why you see things, even old computers like H100s, renting for more than they rented when they were new. And I think that's likely to continue. I think we're going to face a shortage of superintelligence compute”
I enjoy being skeptical of this as well and I’m not entirely sold on the $500B, but I do believe that the pace at which more bots, coding agents, autonomous systems, vehicles, robotics and beyond are coming online to both AI and connectivity from anywhere is about as early as it gets in terms of what’s possible.
So $SPCX is forecasting $500B to $1T in AI ARR at YE 2027, on $500B of capex (10 GW increase)?! This is a 1-2x revenue/investment ratio as the entire industry is now at 0.3x. Their 3Q AI capex was only $16B. They had better get going…
What is AI really capable of in bio?
To separate hype from reality, we spent 3 months working firsthand with @AnthropicAI's internal research model to see if it could create an experimental scorpion antivenom.

I’d love to see some stocks return to the days of pre-releasing earnings or announcing earnings without giving an exact date.
Always a great tactic to make certain moves extra spicy.
Actually the last great example of this was Jack Dorsey and Square some 5+ years ago.
They pre-released a beat and the stock ripped. It was also the move that ignited one of its bigger long-term trends.
citadel's global equities head says some of the biggest hedge-fund losses now happen without a major market selloff.
“The S&P 500 didn't move very much.”
justin lubell describes huge P&L swings driven by factor shocks and rotations inside the market.
a portfolio can look diversified by ticker and still be one crowded bet.
I only have 2 bots running right now.
The unlock here is still early - it took me 6 months to really commit the time to make my first bot. I recommend it throughly now and can see a world where things like email don’t matter anymore, not even a modern phone operating system, because your new central point of talking is through your bots that interact with other bots.
Watch this:
Blackstone created an AI chief investment officer, which is trained on 14 years of the PE firm’s internal deal memos and debates.
Every potential new Blackstone investment requires reading of two memos now: a deal team memo and one from AI CIO (it doesn’t have a vote, though).
This is just an example of sharing data around all the chatter i.e. instead of looking at all the doomer x posts, what if there is an opportunity? @grok explain this nfa example and fact check the paper math
Four random states in the US of Washington, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Georgia have a combined larger and faster growing GDP than all of France.
I always find those kinds of stats fascinating relative to the posts on my X feed.
Vibe coded my parents' TV this afternoon!
It was showing a sponsored ad before you could even get to Netflix.
Gave Claude Code the model number, it found the TV on wifi, removed 25 Xiaomi packages and wrote a new launcher.
Looks like an Apple TV now lol
