We waren bij de gedupeerden op 11 august. Onze trein werd zelfs volledig geannuleerd. Echter werkte het omboekingsformulier niet (foutmelding) en werden we gedwongen om op eigen houtje (geen hulp van de mensen van uit Saint Pancras station. Tweet 1/2
@HannahRoeBBC@MattBrookes3@HannahRoeBBC, if you are looking for more news... well we can't reimburse our expensive (X5!) train tickets... reason: although an official announcement in the station that our train was cancelled, we got the message from HQ that train did leave the station... @Eurostar#shame
@sophielouisecc, this is an absolute shame..we just learned that we can not appeal for reimbursement as our trains seems to have left the station while we (over 2K people) got the message at 23h that our train was cancelled... nice business model/ big shame. Solutions?

These fees, the extra waiting time the fact that you can only be in the EU for 180 days at a time etc. affect a lot of people. Did you know that Eurostar has reduced passenger numbers because of the extra checks? 1/

@Eurostar Tweet 3/4-begrijpen wie begrijpen kan - laten omroepen dat het te laat is om treinen te vertrekken, mr dan doodleuk laten weten dat er geen compensatie kan voorzien worden omdat de trein gereden zou hebben. er stonden toen een kleine 2000 mensen te wachten. hoe lossen we dit op?
