I want to try @jerseymikes new hot italian sub but i have to be honest, the urgency for me to go get it just isn't there anymore. Ever since mike sold himself to private equity, the subs aren't as exciting. They're not wet and juicy like they once were. They used to be soaked. Waterpark. I used to unwrap the sub and it would just look at me and beg me to grab it with 2 hands, and I did. I used to spank my sub before I ate the whole thing, now i eat half and save some for later. It just doesn't give off the same energy anymore and I guess that's just the way life goes sometimes. That sub used to have a twinkle in it's eye. It doesn't anymore. As much as i try to justify it, it's just not the same sandwich.
