Today, I had a meeting with several people from another kidney-focused company, in which I unexpectedly found a former NxStage colleague. I made a comment about how we are a part of the diaspora. It's difficult to describe the feelings of kinship and pride in all that we did together to put home hemodialysis back on the map in US. I will never forget that experience.
