I need new kpop fans to understand that yes there are big annoying fandoms like ARMYS, but there are also a list of small annoying fandoms, and right near the top of that list is Universe.

The post has LAYERS of bullshit to it: the entitlement to think that what Yuto does is this person’s or anyone’s business, the entitlement to treat Dawn revealing his relationship to a woman he nearly married 8 YEARS AGO like it’s some kind of evil event, and the audacity to do all this while being a Hui fan and pretending to be ignorant to the fact that the only members who do not want to work with the group are the Japanese and Chinese members as if that’s not a full red flag.

Like truly how insufferable can you be? Take the fact this post has even this many likes as a warning that if you want to get into Pentagon, do not interact with the fandom, because so many of them are truly this pathetic.

Even without any official notice, I think deep down we already understood his stance, to keep the past in the past and leave it closed. But I also believe Unis wanting some kind of explanation or closure is SO valid. It’s been almost a decade with ptg. It wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies… We stayed through the highs and lows, through uncertainty, through everything. That kind of time and emotional bond doesn’t just disappear overnight.

I think what makes it harder is that lingering feeling…. the uncertainty, the quiet hope that maybe someday there would be clarity. Maybe we’ll never hear his side, and maybe that’s something we have to learn to accept.

It’s his choice to move on, and that’s something only he can decide for himself. But it was also his choice to post something that would inevitably shake things up again. If the intention was truly to leave everything closed, the way it was handled feels confusing and disappointing. It reopened emotions that many unis were trying to quietly make peace with. And i’m not okay with that AT ALL.

More than anything, I think this just changed how some of us feel. Not out of anger, but out of hurt, disappointment... But, I hope people can respect that everyone processes this differently. Some will continue to support him, and others may feel differently. Both come from a place of real emotions and real memories. I hope we can respect each other’s decisions, because none of this was easy for anyone who truly cared.

My heart will always be with ptg, and that won’t change. I will continue to be here for them, and to support them for as long as I can.
