1./ 🧵@PeterTatchell's awful comments on Ann Widdecombe's death have shocked many in the mainstream media. Why though do they turn a blind eye to something just as shocking: his career-long defence of child sexual abuse? Let me tell you why Tatchell should be a pariah. 👉

Brave speech by @DavidDavisMP using parliamentary privilege to raise all those inconvenient truths & qus that need answering, around Sturgeon & SNP scandal. And glad to hear a robust defense of Alex Salmond's reputation, which one always suspected was attacked for dodgy reasons
The police have absolutely no business arresting and charging people for offensive comments.
Freedom of speech means that horrible people will say horrible things. That’s the price we pay for living in a free society.
Ann Widdecombe understood this better than anyone.
And he's got a council flat he was subletting - and now the police cant find him. But people who live in that area knew exactly what was happening- and this is the problem for politicians the public know what they see with their eyes & politicians cant understand that because they see the country through a campaign or activism.
The reason Hothersall, and people like him, can't abide women and gay people who say 'no' to the removal of rights from female rape victims and the chemical castration of gender-confused children is that they're completely insulated from the harms they're cheering on.
@ArchRose90@RobertJenrick Farage should not be beyond media scrutiny. Yes press will be looking for anything negative to stick. He needs to follow the rules like everyone else. Most likely he will come out stronger from this. Just hope he is not now pro cendorahip of media.
@nntaleb The health freaks are out in force. Making assumptions about food with 0 evidence. Pinker made some good points, e.g. UPFs ill defined. Didn't say that all UPFs are good. Virtually no one in modern world lives like a hunter gatherer anymore.
I've always thought that the campaign against "ultra-processed" foods was mindless. What the heck does that even mean: the more things you do to food, the less healthy it is? New RCTs and analyses confirm that the stigma is meaningless (it's calories, fiber, & other causes, not "ultraprocessing") and even harmful: it encourages RFKj's MAHA quackery. I suspect that food researchers are subject to class bias: food that poor people like and can afford must be unhealthy. https://t.co/LaVlWVSd9F
@Occams_Razor_CA@No_Terminators@isaacrrr7 Nothing further to discuss. Will leave you with some more political terms that you may or may not know to use indiscriminately, right wing, Communism, Nazism, Stalinism, Entryist, Libertarianism, Socialism, Leninism,Maoism, Anarchism, Conservativism, Nationalism, Facsism.
@Occams_Razor_CA@No_Terminators@isaacrrr7 Seems like you have swallowed a dictionary of political terms & think spraying them liberally like confetti in your sentences explains anyhing. Your obsession with Trotsky & my supposed ignorance of him is just odd.
@Occams_Razor_CA@No_Terminators@isaacrrr7 Throwing political categories in the air & hoping they explain something is sign of desperation. It is like me accusing you of being a right wing MAGA type without knowing you. Apply Occam's Razor to the grifter explanation & very detailed rebuttal. Which is more likely right?
@NeilJonezomfg@EnricaGianoglio@isaacrrr7 Great so you are ready to swallow a made up story by a grifter account but fact checks are bad? Maybe you could check all of the sources instead & present a counter argument? Though not.
@No_Terminators@isaacrrr7 Speak plainly not in riddles. You think racism dies not exist? This is nothing to do with the USA https://t.co/tDxosUt1v1 happened in Japan.
@BGatesIsaPyscho Usual nonsense from this account. Yes absolute cancer deaths have increased but when adjusted by age they have decreaaed. People are living longer healthier lives as a direct result of improvements in cancer care. Older people are just more likely to get cancer.
