It's a beautiful day for a visit to Main Library! Customers can receive one free hour of parking in the High/Market deck which offers direct access to the library. Parking is also free on weekends and holidays.

The song, The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze (1867) was first made popular by the success of Jules Leotard who developed the art of the trapeze. In 1934 The Little Rascals sang the song in the short film Mike Fright (1934).

Philip Astley toured his circus to Dublin in 1773 and by the late 1800’s circus performing became big business. From the late 1800’s circus performers traveled to even the smallest towns to entertain audiences.
