Anti-Semitism hits home again! These acts of hate are real. Why ? I can't live in a society where people can't talk with each other regardless of their point of view. https://t.co/qxKzKk3ISw
@VirginAirline to Melbourne. The flight attendance repeatedly asked me to put my bag in front of my seat when there are ample of spaces… and others have their backpacks in the overhead cabins. Why am I being singled out?

Mon maître à penser, Sir Karl Popper.
His influences are seen in all my work.
Pleasure meeting you, Professor Popper! Very fitting to retire in Vienna @UVienna@uOttawaEdu@ELN_RLE
The Invisible Influences on Decision-Making explores the often unseen factors that influence decision-making in everyday life and various professional settings, with a particular focus on policing, medicine, education, and counselling @uOttawaEdu @ELN_RLE @mdougan
I have decided to retire from the University of Ottawa, effective July 1, 2023. I am grateful to my academic colleagues, support staff and students at uOttawa and elsewhere for their collaboration, collegiality and support.
I am proud of all that has been accomplished during my tenure at uOttawa and am deeply grateful to my students for inspiring me to find new ways of teaching and researching.
I leave with fond memories and look forward to new adventures.
The difference between cherry-picking Popper's work and actually understanding it, in a single word: absorb.
