Canada’s economy grew at a 3.3% annualized rate in Q2 — more than twice the US rate of 1.5%.
And this wasn’t just headline GDP:
GDP per capita: +3.9%
Business investment: +8.9%
Exports: +15.1%
Canada has just posted its strongest growth in more than three years.
Perhaps trade wars have consequences on both sides of the border — just not always the ones predicted.

Do you realize the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation operates the St. Lawrence river connecting the Great Lakes (including Lake America) to the Atlantic Ocean.
If Canada wanted to they could easily just close that down restricting large cargo ships from entering or exiting them.
