Thank you @POTUS for honoring Welles Crowther, the Man in the Red Bandana, with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and recognizing his wonderful mother, Alison.

As we approach the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 and celebrate America 250, this honor epitomizes what it means to be an American and the heroic sacrifices many have made to protect our freedoms, uphold our values, and serve a cause greater than our own.

Welles sacrificed himself to save 18 people on 9/11 and became a hero in the process.

What a truly special moment to be part of, to honor Welles memory and celebrate his story.
